We’re supporting a leading UK technology and transformation consultancy delivering secure AI, data engineering, and advanced analytics across Defence and critical government programmes. The work is production-grade, building systems that support real Defence capability.
We’re hiring across Engineer, Senior Engineer, Consultant, Senior Consultant, and Managing Consultant levels. All roles remain hands-on, with leadership scope depending on experience.
What you’ll do:
- Build and deploy secure data pipelines, platforms, and AI/ML solutions
- Productionise analytics and ML, including GenAI and agentic patterns where relevant
- Translate Defence requirements into robust technical designs with stakeholders
- Support MOD capability and acquisition work aligned to CADMID
- Implement secure architectures with cloud, platform, and security teams
- Apply DevOps and MLOps, CI/CD, monitoring, auditability, and governance
- Contribute to design reviews, estimates, documentation, and bid inputs
What you’ll bring:
- Strong experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or applied data science
- Cloud and data platform exposure, AWS, Azure, GCP, and/or Databricks
- Python, ideally PySpark, R helpful but not essential
- End-to-end pipelines, feature engineering, and production ML workflows
- Familiarity with LLMs, GenAI, or agent-based systems
- Defence or secure delivery experience, MOD, suppliers, consultancies, or regulated public sector
- Understanding of requirements artefacts such as URDs, SRDs, ITEAPs, RAMS
- Stakeholder skills, plus workstream or team leadership for senior levels
Security clearance:
- SC required
- DV preferred and may be required for certain assignments
