The Role

As Technical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving multiple technical projects forward, ensuring they are delivered efficiently, on time, and in line with business objectives. You will be responsible for coordinating teams, managing priorities, and developing clear project roadmaps, while adapting to changing requirements in a rapidly evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and track progress across multiple technical projects, ensuring objectives are met
  • Prioritise workloads effectively and adapt plans as business needs evolve
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate project roadmaps aligned to strategic goals
  • Ensure efficient use of resources to maximise productivity and delivery outcomes

  • Review and optimise workflows, tools, and resource allocation on an ongoing basis

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in a Technical Project Manager role, managing complex technical projects
  • Proven experience working closely with engineering and development teams
  • Previous background as a software developer or engineer, with strong technical understanding
  • Degree-level education (BSc or equivalent) in a technical, engineering, or related discipline
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor colleagues
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Solid understanding of IT software systems and infrastructure
  • Database knowledge (SQL Server, Oracle, or similar)
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git, PlasticSCM, or Hg
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. YouTrack or equivalent)
