A fast-growing AI SaaS company is seeking a Data Engineer to help build the data foundations behind a suite of AI-powered analytics and decision intelligence products. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, product-focused engineering team where you'll work alongside experienced Data Engineers, AI Engineers and Product teams to develop scalable data solutions that underpin innovative AI products. You'll have the opportunity to strengthen your technical expertise whilst contributing to products used by customers across multiple sectors.
What You'll Be Doing
- Building and maintaining scalable data pipelines using SQL.
- Developing data models to support analytics and AI applications.
- Designing, developing and maintaining ETL and ELT data pipelines.
- Using Python to support Data Engineering solutions where appropriate.
- Working with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS or GCP.
- Implementing data quality, monitoring and validation processes.
- Supporting CI/CD processes and automated deployments.
- Collaborating with Product, Engineering and AI teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
- Commercial experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong hands-on SQL skills and experience working with data.
- Experience building ETL and ELT data pipelines.
- Understanding of data modelling and data warehousing principles.
- Python experience.
- Exposure to Azure, AWS or GCP.
- Experience working with Git and CI/CD processes.
- A collaborative approach, curiosity and a desire to learn within a product-focused engineering environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience working within a SaaS or product-led environment.
- Experience with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric or modern cloud data platforms.
