Analytics Manager | Fintech | London Hybrid
Consumer Credit Analytics. SQL. Portfolio Strategy. Real P&L Impact.
We're exclusively retained on an Analytics Lead hire with a fast-growing consumer credit fintech.
This is a hands-on analytics leadership role, owning strategy across an active credit card portfolio and taking problems from SQL and data extraction through to strategy, implementation and live customer outcomes.
You'll work across:
• Credit limit strategy
• Balance transfers
• Repricing
• Customer campaigns
• Portfolio management
• Customer performance and profitability
The technical requirement is important. We're looking for someone genuinely hands-on with SQL, capable of extracting, manipulating and analysing customer and portfolio data rather than simply managing analysts.
Python is highly desirable, particularly for modelling and deeper analytics, but strong SQL is essential.
You'll also have two direct reports, so we're looking for someone who can lead and develop analysts while still being comfortable getting into the data themselves.
What we're looking for:
• Consumer credit analytics experience — ECM, portfolio, pricing, acquisitions or similar
• Strong, hands-on SQL is essential
• Python desirable, but not essential
• Credit cards, loans or retail lending experience
• Previous people management or mentoring experience
• Strong analytical and commercial judgement
• Existing UK right to work — no sponsorship available
This is a small team with high visibility and genuine impact. Your analysis will directly influence portfolio performance and the P&L.
