An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Technical Project Manager to join a fast-growing, high-performing financial services SME. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and technical teams, helping to keep projects organised, on track, and moving forward.

About the Role

You will support the planning and delivery of technical projects, helping teams stay focused, organised, and aligned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of multiple technical projects, tracking progress and actions
  • Help maintain project plans and roadmaps, updating them as priorities change
  • Assist with coordinating resources and timelines to ensure smooth delivery
  • Monitor risks and issues, escalating where appropriate
  • Support process improvements to improve team efficiency
  • Document project updates and prepare clear status reports for stakeholders
  • Work closely with technical teams to keep communication clear and consistent
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of workflows and delivery practices
Skills & Experience
  • 2–4 years’ experience supporting IT or technical projects (or strong transferable experience)
  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in a technical, engineering, or related field
  • Good organisational skills with a structured, detail-oriented mindset
  • Confident communicator, able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Basic understanding of IT systems, software, or infrastructure
  • Exposure to databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or similar) is a plus, not essential
  • Familiarity with project management or version control tools (e.g. Jira, Git) is beneficial but not required
