A professional and rapidly growing, independent consultancy specialising in advanced analytics has a new opportunity for a graduate econometrician to join their team. You will have studied an Economics / Econometrics based degree at university and develop it in a commercial environment in marketing science and analytics. Full training and support provided for those with the enthusiasm and aptitude to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) projects to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies across various channels.
- Conduct data analysis, statistical modelling, and interpretation of results to provide actionable insights and recommendations to clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, refine methodologies, and present findings in client meetings and reports.
- Prepare clear and compelling presentations and reports using Excel and PowerPoint to communicate key findings and insights.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytical processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of our services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor\’s or Master\’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis and econometric modelling.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with R/Python for data analysis and visualisation is a plus.
- Prior experience or coursework in marketing analytics, econometric modelling, or related fields is preferred but not required for recent graduates.
