Data Spartan is a team of AI researchers, Software Engineers, Data Scientists with years of industry experience developing cutting-edge AI algorithms.
We solve complex business problems in order to improve business effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
We are looking to add an enthusiastic and driven Business Development Executive to the team.
This executive will work closely with our team to build upon our existing relationships, as well as deliver new business necessary to fuel the next phase of Data Spartan.
The main purpose of this role is to identify and build new opportunities for the business, both with new customers and existing customers.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Data Spartan team to build, maintain and close a strong pipeline of clients across our target verticals
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel; covering starting new relationships and maintaining existing relationships.
- Develop, structure and close partnership deals with target partner organisations that deliver enduring value to the business.
- Work on projects to improve Data Spartan’s sales processes and approaches, such as helping iterate our pitches and messaging, our pricing strategies, go to market efforts - or anything else that helps drive growth
- The candidate must be highly driven & able to work with existing clients as well as drive new commercial opportunities
- The candidate must demonstrate: the ability to achieve excellent rapport / interpersonal skills showing an ability to sell B2B Confident negotiating skills and ability to overcome objections
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
- Experienced within B2B business development with a 'hunter' mentality.
- 3 years prior industry related business development experience (Finance or Technology preferred)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- High level of written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and differentiate between important and urgent
- Computer literate with Office 365 experience in particular with Excel, Word and Power Point
- The ability to remain calm and professional at all times even under challenging circumstances
