Overview
Our client is looking for an experienced Finance Analyst to join their project team, focusing on project finance, forecasting and support for a Defence project. You will ideally have experience within a Defence/Project environment and have excellent stakeholder engagement skills so that you can present back to the client. CIMA or ACCA qualification is preferred. Working patterns: This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week in the office. You will need to be able to start at 8.30am for daily calls.
Responsibilities
- Providing high quality, accurate and actionable financial analysis for a key Defence project.
- Provide monthly forecasting and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with UK and Global teams to support the achievement of all metrics (bookings, sales, profit, cash).
- Establish annual and five year plan targets.
- Provide quarterly estimation reporting.
- Support new business proposals and bids.
- Provide information for Gate Reviews including pricing and basis-of-estimate generation.
- Provide financial insight to support the business risk and opportunities process.
- Present back analysis and forecasting reports to key stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
- CIMA or ACCA qualified.
- Defence or Project experience is ideal.
- 5 years experience within a finance/accounting role.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, analytical and detail orientated.
- Experience with forecasting and budgeting.
