The Food & Beverage (F&B) Specialist acts as a subject matter expert for food and beverage operations and solution delivery. This role ensures client solutions reflect both the day-to-day operational needs and the long-term strategic objectives of customers in the F&B industry.
Serving as a key link between business and technology, the F&B Specialist converts industry best practices and customer challenges into scalable, efficient, and compliant ERP solutions. The role is central to uncovering customer pain points, identifying value opportunities, shaping solution designs, and supporting implementation to deliver measurable business improvements.
Our client is seeking an experienced ERP Finance Consultant to lead the implementation and optimisation of ERP systems, with a strong emphasis on financial modules. This role involves close collaboration with finance teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, configure ERP solutions, and integrate them seamlessly with existing financial processes.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing financial workflows, chart of accounts structures, reporting models, and internal controls within the ERP platform, while ensuring alignment with accounting standards and best practices.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ERP platforms or comparable systems, supported by a solid background in financial accounting and reporting. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will deliver user training, resolve system issues, and recommend process enhancements that improve efficiency and data accuracy. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to translate complex financial needs into technical solutions, and clear communication to bridge finance and IT teams. Willingness to travel internationally to customer sites may be required.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week on site.
Key responsibilities- Industry Expertise & Trusted Advisory: Apply deep Food & Beverage industry and process knowledge to engage credibly with customers, identify sector-specific challenges, articulate a compelling case for change, and support pre-sales by demonstrating measurable value.
- Process Assessment & Continuous Improvement: Evaluate customer production and operational processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities, develop data-driven optimisation strategies, and foster a sustainable culture of continuous improvement.
- Requirements Capture & Solution Design: Lead discovery and workshop sessions to capture and document requirements, map pain points to tangible process improvements, and design scalable "to-be" processes that balance standardisation with customer-specific needs.
- Product & Vertical Solution Expertise: Leverage strong end-to-end product knowledge across key verticals (e.g. manufacturing, procurement, warehousing, quality, finance) to ensure best-practice solution alignment, create customer storyboards, and define clear end-to-end process flows.
- Configuration & Delivery Execution: Configure solutions within assigned process verticals, support scoping and proposal development, produce clear process documentation, and collaborate closely with delivery stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and handovers.
- Value Realisation & Delivery Outcomes: Drive faster, high-quality implementations with reduced rework, increased customer satisfaction and adoption, clearer prioritisation of high-impact initiatives, and well-documented lessons learned to support ongoing improvement.
- Industry Expertise: Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage manufacturing operations, including recipe formulation, production scheduling, batch and lot traceability, allergen management, and shelf-life control.
- ERP Solution Knowledge: Proven hands-on understanding of ERP modules, end-to-end workflows, and system integration touchpoints.
- Analytical Capability: Adept at identifying operational inefficiencies and translating insights into practical, data-backed improvement recommendations.
- Process Modelling: Experienced in developing clear, structured process documentation, including swimlane and end-to-end workflow diagrams.
- Customer Communication: Confident presenter with strong stakeholder engagement skills, able to clearly explain complex ERP concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works seamlessly with Sales, Solution Architecture, Delivery, and Product teams to achieve shared outcomes.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensures all activities align with delivery frameworks, industry regulations, and compliance requirements.
