Working Patterns and location - 4 days per week on site
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of robust business cases to support programme funding and approvals
- Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, benefits, costs, and delivery approach
- Manage delivery across the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment to time, cost, and quality expectations
- Navigate governance and assurance processes, ensuring compliance with defence standards
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies
- Provide clear reporting and updates to senior stakeholders and programme boards
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful and timely delivery
- Drive stakeholder engagement to secure buy-in and support at all levels
Skills & experience
- Experience developing and managing business cases (OBC/FBC)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proven delivery experience within defence or secure environments
- Good understanding of governance, assurance, and approvals processes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Experience working across the full project lifecycle
- Knowledge of government frameworks (e.g. Green Book)
- Relevant project management certifications (PRINCE2, Agile, MSP)
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
