Our client is a medium sized company working in the Defence sector. They are looking for a highly organised and great communicator to manage day to day office operations to ensure smooth runnings, support compliance processes and assist departments with administrative processes. The ideal candidate would have experience working on digital tools such as Microsoft Office and Canva.
Working Patterns: This role is based on site in Cheltenham. (Parking is available)
The Key Responsibilities of an Office and Business Service Coordinator:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a safe, organised, and welcoming environment.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and facility maintenance, liaising with external vendors as needed.
- Coordinate visitor management, including greeting guests, scheduling meetings, and maintaining visitor logs.
- Assist with planning and coordinating company-wide events, team-building activities, and internal meetings.
- Support the Compliance and Office Lead in implementing and maintaining health & safety policies and protocols.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and contribute to fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Support internal branding and marketing initiatives using Canva and other digital tools.
- Assist with content creation, social media updates, and internal communications to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
- Provide general administrative support across departments.
- Maintain organised records and files.
Key Skills required for the Office and Business Service Coordinator:
- Proven experience in office management, administrative, or operational support roles.
- Strong understanding of compliance processes, health & safety requirements, and internal auditing support.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Canva; familiarity with other digital tools a plus.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing visitor services, office facilities, and day-to-day operations.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and with external partners.
