My client is a large defence and engineering consultancy who are a trusted partner in National Security work.
Working patterns and location Hybrid β 3 days onsite
Responsibilities Lead a diverse program team, ensuring strong collaboration and communication with all stakeholders.
Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, influencing decisions to align with program objectives.
Develop and maintain essential program documents, including schedules, risk registers, and progress reports.
Oversee risk, change management, and reporting processes to ensure the program stays on track.
Allocate and manage resources efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of all program activities while resolving any issues that arise.
Key skills Experience in developing strategies and managing multiple interconnected workstreams within a complex program.
Proven track record in successfully delivering, controlling, and planning large transformation programs, especially in agile/SAFe environments.
Strong knowledge of program management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Skilled at managing stakeholder relationships and information flow in a matrix environment, with the ability to work across teams and communicate effectively with senior management.
Proficient in EVM processes and their application in agile/SAFe environments, with strong attention to detail and presentation skills.
Familiarity with the Defence and National Security sectors, as well as awareness of Management of
Education and qualifications Formal Agile training (SAFe v6.0)
MOP (Management of Portfolios) training an advantage.
