Datasource are hiring an ERP Transformation Manager to play a key role in a major ERP upgrade programme, upgrading legacy manufacturing operating systems and preparing them for integration as part of a wider ERP transformation. This is a high-impact opportunity to lead end-to-end transformation activity, delivering outcomes through strong project planning, governance, and cross-functional leadership. You will align senior stakeholders, manage risks and change activity, and drive process, systems, and operating model improvements across the business.
Our client is a large, matrixed Defence sector organisation. This is a fast-paced organisation undergoing a complex change. So previous experience operating in a similarly complex environment and the ability to hit the ground running would be highly desirable.
Hybrid working model with 3 days per week on site, plus an early finish every Friday.
The Key Responsibilities:
- The role is accountable for delivering transformation initiatives end to end, developing detailed project plans and leading cross functional teams to achieve agreed outcomes.
- It ensures strong governance, clear reporting, and adherence to organisational project management standards.
- The role proactively manages risks and issues, drives stakeholder alignment, and supports initiatives such as process standardisation, system and operating model changes, and capability uplift.
- It also ensures effective change management to enable adoption and long-term sustainability, while providing clear, insightful updates to senior stakeholders and governance boards.
Key Skills required:
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end ERP Transformation projects.
- Ability to deliver in fast paced, complex matrix environments, managing multiple workstreams.
- Demonstrable track record of leading change programmes across processes, technology systems, or target operating model improvements.
- A pragmatic approach to fast moving projects with a strong focus on successful delivery.
Desirable Skills:
- Recognised project management qualification, certification, or relevant professional training (e.g. APM, PRINCE2, PMI / PMP, Agile, Scrum, MSP).
- Manufacturing knowledge or similar industry experience would be beneficial.
- Exposure to enterprise system implementations such as ERP solutions, planning tools, or data platforms.
- Experience operating within established PMO structures or formal governance frameworks.
- Background gained within manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, defence, or technology environments.
