Our client is looking for an experienced Security Architect to join their fast-growing security consultancy practice. You'll be working across complex public and private sector clients, designing and assuring secure solutions from strategic planning right through to technical implementation.
Working Patterns and location: Hybrid β 3 days on site per week
The Key Responsibilities of a Security Architect:
- Lead development of security architecture and design for complex IT requirements across full system lifecycles.
- Support clients through business-focused security requirement specification, definition, and design.
- Produce technical risk assessments and solution architecture documentation for client engagements.
- Lead workshops and engage with senior business leaders and diverse project stakeholders.
- Shape and align security policies, principles, and standards within enterprise and organisational contexts.
- Support business development activities including bid writing and presales engagement where required.
- Manage trade-offs between stakeholder needs, constraints, and security outcomes across parallel workstreams.
Key Skills required for a Security Architect:
- Proven experience designing security architecture for complex IT systems and environments.
- Strong ability to produce technical risk assessments and solution architecture documents.
- Experience supporting clients through security requirement specification and definition.
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience leading security workshops and engaging with senior business and technical stakeholders.
- CISSP, CISM, or another industry-recognised cybersecurity certification β essential.
- Experience working across security engineering and assurance tasks on parallel projects and workstreams.
- Full Membership of the Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISec).
- Chartered or Principal status via the UK Cyber Security Council for Secure Systems Architecture.
- NCSC Certified Cyber Professional in Security Architecture.
- SABSA Chartered Security Architect qualification.
