We are seeking an experienced Sales Communications & Event Specialist to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in supporting our global sales initiatives. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating the logistics and planning of high-impact sales events and meetings, as well as executing strategic communication efforts that engage and align our sales organisation. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, bringing exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills to manage large-scale, complex events and collaborate with top C-Level executives.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Support event logistics and planning for annual global sales leadership meetings, fiscal kick-off meetings, sales incentive trips, and sales training sessions, including:
    • Plan and organise every aspect of the event, including location sourcing and selection, headcount, catering services, and other elements.
    • Manage travel and attendee data – including global senior executive team.
    • Build out event web registration sites, mobile apps, and attendee communications.
    • Establish expense and budget tracking - tracking expenses to ensure we stay within the budget while allocating funds for various components such as venue rental, catering, and entertainment.
    • Manage contracts with vendors and venues; responsible for negotiation, redlining and contract details.
    • Provide on-site support and communication.
    • Serve as vendor and internal partner liaison to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Support communications initiatives for the global sales organization:
    • Schedule and manage meetings and trainings via shared Outlook calendar.
    • Maintain the monthly Revenue Enablement calendar and circulate with stakeholders.
    • Compile/proofread/edit meeting and presentation materials.
    • Provide support for internal cross-functional communications, including monthly newsletters, marketing announcements, etc.
    • Ability to use a variety of channels, such as internal web platform and Outlook, to craft and send communications.
  • Provide project management and administration for the global sales operations team as necessary:
    • Maintain internal team SharePoint site organisation.
    • Run reports and analytics on success metrics – surveys, SharePoint site traffic, communications, training attendance, etc.
    • Other duties and special projects as required.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 2+ years of meeting and event planning experience for large-scale, complex corporate or government and/or entertainment industry events.
  • 25% + travel required.
  • CMP certification preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to adapt to frequent change and short lead times.
  • Demonstrated skills in prioritising, decision-making, time management, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Experience working with top C-Level executives.
  • Possess a strong commitment to team environment dynamics with the ability to contribute expertise and follow leadership directives at appropriate times.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to coordinate several tasks simultaneously.
