Datasharp is a PE-backed data and SaaS group operating across Europe and the US, bringing together high-quality data businesses including Infobel, Woosmap, and Techsalerator. We’re scaling quickly, driving SaaS growth and executing a focused M&A strategy backed by Strada Partners. This is a build phase, not maintenance.
About the Role
We’re hiring a FP&A Analyst to own budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across the group. You’ll work closely with the Group Controller and Head of Finance, turning financial data into clear insights that support decision-making. This role is suited for someone analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially aware, who wants to understand not just what the numbers are, but what’s driving them.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain budgets and forecasts across all entities
- Perform variance analysis (budget vs actual) and explain key drivers
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and reporting
- Support investor reporting with clear, data-driven insights
- Partner with entity leads to understand performance drivers
- Identify risks and trends early and communicate them clearly
- Build and improve financial models and analysis tools
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel / financial modelling skills
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to translate data into clear business insights
Nice to Have
- Experience in SaaS, subscription, or tech business
- Understanding of ARR, NRR, churn, CAC/LTV
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau, etc.)
- SQL or data manipulation skills
- Background in consulting, investment banking, or similar analytical roles
