The predicted salary is between 72000 - 108000 £ per year.

We are looking for an experienced GMC-registered consultant Histopathologist to join us. Your main duties will include analysing tumour tissue samples to determine tumour content, preparing sections/curls for NGS analysis, and reviewing and signing patient reports. Additionally, you will be expected to have extensive knowledge of tissue sampling and analysis techniques.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and presentation skills are crucial for educating medical personnel about laboratory findings. A willingness to learn new technologies is a plus. To qualify for this role, you should have specialist training in histopathology and be registered with GMC as a Histopathologist. You must also be knowledgeable of past and ongoing research in your field and be able to explain the comparative evidence base to healthcare professionals. Additionally, you should have the ability to write clear clinical audit reports.

Job Type: Part-time, remote, 2 hours a day. Onsite 3 days a week for a couple of hours. Remuneration: TBD. Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability. Education: MD and FRCPath. Work Location: Hybrid/In person - Guildford, GU2 7AE.
