Who we are looking for: As Head of Marketing, you will lead Datapharm’s marketing function at a pivotal point in our growth. You will own the positioning, promotion, and protection of the Datapharm brand across all touchpoints. You will build and execute a marketing strategy that serves two distinct stakeholder groups: (1) pharma customers- our economic buyers, supporting complex, multi-stakeholder B2B buying journeys, driving pipeline and revenue growth (ARR) - and (2) healthcare professionals (HCPs)- our product ‘end users’, driving awareness, engagement, and adoption through more B2C-style communications, education, and a compelling digital experience. A strong understanding of AI adoption in martech is essential. This is a senior leadership role requiring both strategic vision and strong operational execution.
What you’ll be doing:
- Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement a marketing strategy aligned to business objectives and revenue targets, covering both pharma customers (B2B) and Healthcare Professional audiences.
- Own segmentation, personas, and messaging frameworks for two distinct stakeholder groups — pharma buyers with complex sales cycles, and HCPs requiring credible, compliant engagement.
- Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns across brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition.
- Own the full marketing mix: campaigns, content, launches, events, communications and PR.
- Design and deliver sales enablement content including pitch decks, case studies, and proof points.
- Shape compelling value propositions aligned to the product portfolio and roadmap.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Build, lead and develop a high-performing marketing team with a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product and Customer Success to keep marketing tightly aligned to commercial priorities.
- Set clear objectives and performance standards, with regular feedback and development opportunities.
- Brand & Digital
- Protect and enhance Datapharm's brand identity and reputation, ensuring consistency across all channels and markets.
- Lead digital marketing including SEO, paid media, social and email to drive visibility and lead generation.
- Drive thought leadership and PR to raise profile with key industry audiences.
- Tools, Budget & Performance
- Own and manage all marketing tools, channels and platforms including the website and email.
- Lead AI adoption within the marketing team to improve efficiency and output quality.
- Manage the marketing budget, track ROI, and report regularly to the Executive team on performance and investment effectiveness.
- Partnership & Ecosystem
- Develop co-marketing initiatives with strategic partners and represent Datapharm at industry events.
- Leverage ecosystem relationships to support lead generation, content distribution and brand reach.
- Mergers & Acquisitions
- Partner with the Executive team on the marketing implications of potential acquisitions and lead integration planning to ensure brand consistency and minimal disruption.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Aptitude, Skills & Abilities
- Exceptional strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into high-impact marketing programmes.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, confident interpreting performance metrics and commercial data.
- Outstanding communicator and storyteller, able to influence at all levels from the Board to frontline teams.
- Skilled project manager, able to run multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of AI tools, digital marketing channels and the evolving martech landscape.
- Clear commercial acumen with an understanding of how marketing investment drives revenue growth.
- Experience leading M&A communications and brand integration.
