We are looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager (Hunter) to lead new client acquisition for our Corporate Finance & Accounting (F&A) Outsourcing Services globally. The role focuses on identifying, engaging, and converting mid to large corporates seeking to optimize their finance operations through outsourcing and technology‑led solutions.
About the Role
The ideal candidate is a proactive deal maker with a deep understanding of finance processes, a strong professional network across the globe, and a proven record of achieving new business targets in B2B services.
Responsibilities
- New Client Acquisition (Hunting Focus)
- Identify and acquire new corporate clients across industries for outsourced F&A solutions.
- Develop and execute a structured plan to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, industry events, digital outreach, and partnerships.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and continuously identify new opportunities.
- Solution & Consultative Selling
- Engage with CFOs, Finance Heads, and Controllers to understand business challenges and position the right solutions.
- Promote a comprehensive portfolio of F&A Services, including:
- Order-to-Cash (O2C) – billing, collections, and receivables management
- Record-to-Report (R2R) – general accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting
- Tax, General Accounting, Payroll, and Compliance Support (CPA Specific)
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and MIS Reporting
- Work with internal solution and pre‑sales teams to prepare tailored proposals and pricing models.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring consistent follow‑up and conversion.
- Track all leads, opportunities, and interactions using CRM tools.
- Accurately forecast revenue and report progress against targets.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key decision‑makers within the CPA and accounting community.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars to enhance visibility and networking.
- Work closely with marketing, pre‑sales, and delivery teams to align sales strategy and execution.
- Share market insights to refine offerings and go‑to‑market approaches.
Qualifications
- 8–12 years of experience in Sales, preferably in Finance & Accounting Outsourcing
- Proven track record in hunting and closing new business with corporates.
- Strong understanding of finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, FP&A, Payroll, Tax).
- Established relationships with CFOs, Finance Heads, and Procurement leaders in mid to large enterprises.
- Experience in selling to CPAs or Accountants will also work.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and achieve results in a competitive market.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
