We are currently looking for experienced apprenticeship coaches to join our team. The successful candidates will contribute to the delivery of our Apprenticeship in the Legal Sector by providing training and support to our learners in the legal industry, teaching/coaching levels 3 - 7.
Candidates are required to hold a Level 6 qualification in Law or Legal services. We are looking for experienced Coaches that are able to support the learner journey and be the main contact for employers/learners. As a coach, it is your responsibility to maintain the apprenticeship fundamentals alongside all teaching and learning for the apprenticeship.
Your Role:- You will be managing 40 - 50 learners throughout their learning journey on the paralegal apprenticeship.
- You will be responsible for carrying out monthly learning following a structured curriculum across a variety of areas of law.
- You will also cover apprenticeship fundamentals including safeguarding, British values, health and safety, along with monitoring of learner wellbeing.
- You will carry out progress reviews as per the learners training plan with learners and employers, addressing any issues and planning individualised learning to meet their needs.
- You will be responsible for recording and documenting how learners apply their newly acquired skills and knowledge in their day to day roles including maintaining the OTJ log.
- You will set clear objectives to support their timely progression in line with the curriculum, identifying slow progress and putting targets in place for timely completion.
- You will be required to complete new learner inductions on a monthly basis and liaise with the onboarding team to facilitate this.
- You will be responsible for supporting learners through their learning journey to successful completion of their EPA.
- You will review and provide feedback on portfolio completion that will support the achievement of the final EPA assessments.
- You are required to regularly communicate and meet your line manager on a monthly basis to complete a caseload review.
- You will proactively communicate with the delivery team to ensure learner support & progression.
- You will maintain all the documentation to meet ESFA and Ofsted requirements including reporting non-attendance and punctuality.
- You will be experienced in the delivery of apprenticeships and/or teaching within the legal sector.
- You will hold a Level 3 or above teaching qualification.
- You must have knowledge of Apprenticeship funding regulations.
- You must have excellent organisational skills to coordinate learners training plans and ensure they attend the relevant workshops and sessions.
- You will need to learn and understand the paralegal curriculum; in-house training will be provided to prepare you fully for the role.
- Experience of working with apprenticeships for at least 3 years is preferred with a strong background in facilitating apprentices to completion. Teaching of law Level 3 or above in any educational setting will be considered as an equivalent to apprenticeship experience.
- You must be driven, organised and able to manage a demanding job role to help individuals further their career. We are looking for someone that is ambitious and can share their expertise.
