As a Director in Professional Services, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of Engagement Managers, Data Scientists, and Services Leader. Your team will primarily be responsible for deploying, activating, and implementing the Dataiku platform for enterprise clients, and will then accompany them as they scale and deepen their use of the software to help them maximise the benefits they get from Dataiku. You will specifically manage the Northern Europe portfolio, which focuses on companies in the UK and is expanding into the Nordics.

Responsibilities
  • Listen to and frame the client's needs.
  • Build, defend & sell service proposals that support customers’ transformation projects.
  • Staff and oversee the delivery of sold engagements over a regional portfolio.
  • Manage escalation proactively and ensure high quality of delivery & customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with account teams (Account Executive, Customer Success) to ensure Dataiku clients achieve high adoption rates and realise significant value.
  • Manage utilisation and margin metrics for your region, as well as sales forecasts for services and support in your portfolio.
  • Grow a team of experts through either the expert or management tracks.
  • Manage conflicts and build a strong local culture.
  • Ensure the efficiency of processes within your team and their proper understanding and use by account teams.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of standards.
What we are looking for
  • You have both strong interpersonal skills (listening, presentation) and are not afraid to occasionally delve into complex and sometimes technical subjects.
  • You are organised and able to manage both short‑term pre‑sales and long‑term execution follow‑up simultaneously.
  • You have a good IT and Data culture.
  • You have over 10 years of experience in leading external projects and managing teams.
  • You speak English fluently and are based in London.

  • Experience managing cross‑functional expert teams.
  • Experience in a high‑growth software company or in a Data consulting firm.
  • Experience as a Data Scientist, Developer, or IT architect.
  • Experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
