We’re hiring a Senior Business Operations Analyst for a global insurance organisation undergoing a data-led transformation across underwriting, claims, and core operations. This is a business-facing role, sitting between the insurance teams and technology. You’ll focus on understanding how the business works, translating requirements into a developing data management strategy, and helping drive operational change as new platforms and data capabilities are embedded. This is not a developer or IT role. It’s for someone who understands insurance operations and can ask the right questions, influence stakeholders, and turn insight into action.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working closely with Underwriting, Claims, Operations, and IT
- Leading business analysis and requirement gathering for data-related initiatives
- Translating insurance business needs into practical data and change priorities
- Supporting the rollout and adoption of new data platforms and processes
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality, and decision-making
- Influencing and challenging stakeholders to drive better outcomes
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in insurance or reinsurance (commercial, specialty, or FS)
- Background as a Business Analyst, Operations Analyst, or Change Analyst
- Strong understanding of insurance processes and operating models
- Data-literate (comfortable working with reporting, MI, data issues)
- Confident engaging senior stakeholders and driving change
- Consulting or transformation experience is a strong plus
Why apply:
- High-visibility role within a core insurance business
- Genuine opportunity to shape how data is used across the organisation
- Clear scope, ownership, and progression
- Stable environment with meaningful change agenda
- London-based candidates only.
