Business Director – Marketing Science (MMM)
London (Hybrid: 2 days per week in office)

This is a senior, visible role for an established Marketing Mix Modelling / Marketing Science leader who wants real influence - with clients, teams, and product direction.
The Opportunity
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and client leadership. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior marketers, owning complex MMM and marketing effectiveness engagements while shaping how analytics is embedded into decision-making across brands. You’ll lead from the front - commercially, technically, and intellectually - while mentoring analysts and helping evolve next-generation measurement products.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and grow senior client relationships as a Marketing Science lead
- Lead delivery of MMM / econometrics and marketing effectiveness programmes
- Translate complex analytics into clear commercial recommendations
- Partner closely with strategists and media teams to influence planning and optimisation
- Design, pitch, and deliver analytics-led solutions to senior stakeholders
- Contribute to the evolution of new analytics products and tools
- Line-manage and develop junior team members
- Play an active role in team initiatives, process improvement, and revenue growth

- Core Experience
- Director-level experience in Marketing Science / MMM / Econometrics
- Agency, consultancy, or in-house marketing analytics background
- Proven track record delivering analytics projects for senior clients
- Strong commercial and consultative mindset
- Technical Strength
- Deep expertise in Econometric Modelling / Marketing Mix Modelling (essential)
- Strong R skills for analytics and modelling
- Exposure to forecasting, experimentation (A/B testing), or ML in marketing contexts
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, or Shiny is a plus (not mandatory)
- Leadership & Communication
- Confident influencing senior stakeholders
- Excellent storytelling with data — simplifying complexity
- Experience managing and developing analysts
- Comfortable working autonomously with minimal oversight
