Our work is predominantly retained and exclusive, delivering senior leadership appointments including CTO, Chief Data Officer, VP Cloud, Head of AI and related transformation mandates. We are now seeking an Executive Search Talent Researcher to strengthen our delivery capability across senior technology and data searches.
The Opportunity
You will work closely with the Director on retained and exclusive mandates, providing structured market intelligence and high-quality shortlists for C-level and VP-level assignments. This is a research-led, insight-driven role focused on precision, analysis and market mapping — not high-volume contingent recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed market mapping across target sectors and geographies
- Analyse organisational structures, reporting lines and leadership pipelines
- Identify and engage senior passive talent across Data, Cloud and Technology domains
- Develop comprehensive longlists and calibrated shortlists
- Produce structured research reports and candidate briefing packs
- Support assessment processes with market insight and benchmarking data
- Maintain accurate project tracking and research documentation
You will be expected to bring structure, rigour and commercial awareness to every search.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in executive search research or senior-level technology recruitment
- Demonstrated ability to map C-suite, VP or Director-level talent
- Strong LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search capability
- High level of attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Professional communication style suitable for engaging senior stakeholders
- Discretion and maturity when handling confidential assignments
Advantageous experience:
- Exposure to retained search environments
- Experience mapping Data, AI, Cloud or Technology leadership markets
- Understanding of AWS, Azure or GCP ecosystems
