A global insurer with a strong reputation for financial strength, innovation, and ESG leadership is seeking an IT Compliance Manager to establish and lead the IT compliance function within its fast-evolving group structure. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing, values-driven organisation during a time of strategic growth and transformation.

You’ll be the subject matter expert for SOX IT compliance, responsible for setting the standard for IT controls as critical systems are migrated into the group. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, assessing, and enhancing control frameworks across infrastructure, applications, and data integrity domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up the IT compliance framework for the group in preparation for system migrations.
• Perform detailed SOX IT control assessments, including access controls, change management, and data protection.
• Provide advisory input to control owners, and drive remediation efforts where needed.
• Partner with internal audit and senior stakeholders to ensure audit readiness and regulatory alignment.
• Maintain internal control documentation and risk assessments to support quarterly certifications.
• Enhance IT control documentation, process flows, and risk control matrices.
• Stay up to date on regulatory requirements and best practices in IT risk management.

You’ll Bring

• Strong experience in SOX IT auditing or compliance roles.
• Solid understanding of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and SOX requirements.
• Experience working with control frameworks like COBIT, NIST, or ISO 27001.
• Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CPA (preferred).
• Broad technology knowledge including infrastructure, cyber security, and governance.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
