This is a senior leadership role reporting to C-Level with full accountability for setting the architecture vision, owning design authority, and embedding governance across cloud, data, and applications. The organisation is deep into its digital transformation journey and operates as a Microsoft Azure house. You’ll be at the centre of critical decision-making, influencing how architecture supports long-term growth, operational efficiency, and digital delivery. Define and lead the enterprise architecture strategy across business applications, integration, infrastructure, and data. Chair the Architecture Board and Technology Forum – driving governance, alignment, and execution. Build and lead a high-performing team of Solution and Data Architects. Own current and future-state architecture models, principles, and capability roadmaps. Be the trusted voice on architecture in the boardroom – driving decisions that shape the firm’s future. Deep knowledge of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including Azure-native data and integration services. Strong grasp of the Microsoft data stack: SQL Server, SSIS, T-SQL, SSRS. Enterprise-level understanding of architecture frameworks and governance models. Insurance, reinsurance, or financial services experience is a strong advantage.
