DATAHEAD is partnering with a global marketing agency supporting a market-leading Silicon Valley technology company to appoint an Analytics leader into a critical global role. This client is a technology business at heart, with highly sophisticated in-house analytics and modelling capabilities. The agency’s role is focused on brand media strategy, measurement, and optimisation - and this position sits at the centre of ensuring campaign data is credible, actionable, and actually used in planning.
This is not a modelling or data science role. It is a senior analytics leadership position for someone who can take complex campaign data, interpret outputs from advanced models, and turn them into clear insights and confident recommendations for planners and senior stakeholders.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Analytics & Measurement Leadership
- Own weekly and post-campaign reporting across global brand media activity
- Ensure campaign data is accurate, consistent, and representative of true performance
- Interpret outputs from in-house modelling and planning tools, translating them into practical media and investment recommendations
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities across markets to inform future strategy
- Dashboards, Automation & Speed to Insight
- Lead the adoption of the agency’s analytics platforms and automation tools
- Build and maintain dashboards (e.g. Looker or equivalent) to reduce reporting churn and accelerate decision-making
- Improve how quickly planners can move from data to insight to action
- Partnership & Consultancy
- Act as a trusted analytics partner to a highly tech-led, data-protective client
- Work closely with planning and strategy teams to embed analytics into day-to-day decision-making
- Constructively challenge budget allocations using evidence and performance data
- Support a test-and-learn agenda by shaping how results are measured, reviewed, and applied
This role is:
- Analytics leadership for brand media
- Insight, interpretation, and recommendation-driven
- Hands-on with reporting, dashboards, and data quality
- Designed to influence planning and investment decisions
What We’re Looking For:
- Essential Experience
- Senior analytics experience within a media agency, consultancy, or complex marketing environment
- Strong understanding of campaign measurement, ROI frameworks, and brand media performance
- Hands-on experience with dashboards and reporting tools
- Comfortable working with large, imperfect datasets and translating them into insight
- Able to interpret advanced model outputs and understand how data inputs affect outcomes
- Confident presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Desirable
- Experience working on global or multi-market accounts
- Exposure to test-and-learn or experimentation frameworks
- Background working with tech-led or data-protective clients
Why This Role Stands Out:
- High-impact global role supporting a world-class technology brand
- Opportunity to define and build the analytics capability within a global agency team
- Strong visibility with senior stakeholders and planners
- Hybrid working with a collaborative, senior environment
