What you'll do
- Identify and recruit new strategic channel partners to enhance revenue growth and market presence.
- Provide support and activate existing partners through comprehensive training programs, collaborative sales planning, and joint marketing initiatives.
- Manage the technical and marketing aspects of launching integrated partnerships, ensuring alignment with Datadog's objectives.
- Conduct regular business reviews with partners to maintain accountability, assess performance, and track success metrics.
- Work closely with Datadog's regional enterprise and commercial sales teams to align strategies and optimize partner contributions.
- Generate a robust sales pipeline and revenue from partner-driven opportunities, leveraging your network and industry insights.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance partner engagement and satisfaction, ensuring long-term collaboration.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to effectively position Datadog's offerings in the market.
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine partner programs and improve overall partner experience.

- Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration within the Channels & Alliances team to achieve shared goals.

Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in roles focused on partnerships, business development, strategic alliances, or channel sales, specifically within cloud services or SaaS environments.
- Proven track record of successfully driving sales opportunities from initial engagement to closing, demonstrating strong negotiation skills and partnership development capabilities.
- Ability to quickly understand and articulate complex technical concepts and architectural scenarios, both verbally and in writing.
- Willingness to travel up to 20-30% of the time to meet with partners and attend industry events.
- Strong analytical skills to assess partner performance and market opportunities effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders.

- Experience in managing relationships with premier Cloud Managed Service Provider (MSP) partners.
- Familiarity with industry-standard sales methodologies, such as MEDDIC or Command of the Message.
