What you'll do
- Identify and recruit new strategic channel partners to enhance revenue growth and market presence.
- Provide support and activate existing partners through comprehensive training programs, collaborative sales planning, and joint marketing initiatives.
- Manage the technical and marketing aspects of launching integrated partnerships, ensuring alignment with Datadog's objectives.
- Conduct regular business reviews with partners to maintain accountability, assess performance, and track success metrics.
- Work closely with Datadog's regional enterprise and commercial sales teams to align strategies and optimize partner contributions.

Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in roles focused on partnerships, business development, strategic alliances, or channel sales, specifically within cloud services or Saa S environments.
- Proven track record of successfully driving sales opportunities from initial engagement to closing, demonstrating strong negotiation skills and partnership development capabilities.
- Ability to quickly understand and articulate complex technical concepts and architectural scenarios, both verbally and in writing.
- Willingness to travel up to 20-30% of the time to meet with partners and attend industry events.
- Strong analytical skills to assess partner performance and market opportunities effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders.
