Video Editor (Part-time, 1 day per week)

Location: Remote

Commitment: 1 day per week (approx 7.5 hours)

Overview

DCD is a global leader in events, broadcasts, and digital media for the data center and digital infrastructure industry. We’re looking for a skilled Video Editor to join us one day a week, editing a mix of talks, panel discussions, promotional clips, and other video assets for our audience of technology professionals. You’ll help ensure every piece of content is polished, engaging, and on-brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage (talks, broadcasts, interviews) into polished, professional videos.
• Add titles, captions, graphics, and brand elements to maintain a consistent style.
• Balance and clean audio for clarity and impact.
• Create short-form social edits from longer content where needed.
• Export final videos in the correct formats for multiple platforms.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio of relevant work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.
• Basic audio editing skills for speech clarity and podcast preparation.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.

Nice to Have

• Experience creating short-form, social-optimised edits (Reels/TikTok).
• Knowledge of producing video for multiple devices and platforms.
• Skills in simple motion graphics or After Effects.
