We are seeking an experienced Head of Network Engineering to lead the technical direction, delivery, and growth of a high-performing engineering team at a leading network consultancy and managed services provider. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on complex network challenges, team development, and delivering outstanding client outcomes.

As Head of Network Engineering, you will:

  • Define and execute the network engineering strategy, aligned with business growth and customer needs.
  • Ensure high-quality solution design, delivery, and operational standards across all projects.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-skilled engineering team, fostering technical excellence and accountability.
  • Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex customer issues.
  • Work closely with Pre-Sales and Support teams to translate requirements into robust, commercially viable solutions and ensure smooth project handovers.
  • Drive continuous improvement in tools, processes, and methodologies.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven senior technical leadership within a network consultancy, MSP, or systems integrator.
  • Strong hands-on experience in enterprise networking technologies: routing, switching, wireless, security, and UC.
  • Cisco certified to CCNP or higher; CCIE highly desirable.
  • Track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
