This role sits within the \”buying team\”, which is focused on owning part of the online rewards range proposition and drive the development, delivery, and margin performance of the offering.The role involves working with a global network of 70+ suppliers to ensure the best products and pricing are available, while also being creative in curating the overall offering.

Actively sourcing new product opportunities whilst developing a strong knowledge and understanding of the Rewards marketplace. To proactively build, develop and manage the Reward Merchandise and Voucher range, producing a best in class offering for the industry.

Principal Responsibilities:

·Compile, analyse and interpret data to assist with margin management and provide a commercially viable, appealing range of merchandise (and other products) at competitive prices.

·Build, manage and maintain relationships with suppliers to include negotiation, service agreement and performance reviews.

·Work with the internal stakeholders to build compelling reward propositions and assist with all client requests for product proposals and pricing.

·Lead operational implementation of new Reward supplier/offering from brief to launch.

·Pro-actively suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of service and identify and implement Reward Product enhancement opportunities.

·Input into the technical development of the reward products and systems.

·Maintain a working knowledge of external factors such as legislation, trademarks and taxation.

·Source new suppliers to improve upon the existing range.

Essential Experience & Skills

·Extensive experience in an online retail, buying or range management role.

·Experience of international product propositions, product range specification and negotiation in an online retail or B2B or drop shipping environment.

·Ability to work and lead in cross functional teams

·Strong supplier relationship management.

·High level of commercial awareness.

·Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail.

·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

·Confident, positive, results driven, with a can-do attitude.

·Multi-tasking skills with the ability to work in high-pressure, fast paced dynamic environment.

·Excellent command of the English language (spoken as well as written).
