We are looking to recruit a ServiceNow professional for a technology driven public sector organisation. The ServiceNow specialist will play a pivotal role in leading the introduction and ongoing development of a new ServiceNow platform as part of a major transformation programme.
This is a hybrid role and you will be required to work on site in Blackpool approximately 2 days a week.
The Role
This position will provide technical leadership and product ownership for the client's new ServiceNow platform. You'll ensure that ServiceNow aligns with business goals, delivers maximum value, and supports continuous improvement across IT and service operations. Working with strategic suppliers and a ServiceNow delivery partner, you'll oversee configuration, onboarding, and platform enhancements - driving innovation and ensuring the tooling supports a modern, efficient service management model.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Product Owner for the organisation's ServiceNow platform, overseeing technical configuration and development.
- Lead the onboarding of suppliers and services into the platform as part of a multi-supplier (SIAM) ecosystem.
- Chair tooling and governance forums to prioritise enhancements and address issues.
- Work closely with suppliers to manage incidents, upgrades, and platform performance.
- Drive continuous improvement through workflow automation, reporting enhancements, and best practice adoption.
- Provide subject matter expertise on ServiceNow capabilities, integrations, and module optimisation.
- Contribute to tooling strategy and future procurement decisions related to ServiceNow.
Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, particularly ITSM and ITOM modules (IRM/SPM desirable).
- Experience configuring, administering, or implementing ServiceNow in an enterprise or multi-supplier environment.
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes, Agile delivery, and service integration principles (SIAM).
- Ability to bridge business and technical teams, influencing suppliers and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
