Sales Executive (Temporary Contract)
Location: Devon area / Remote working
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:15
Contract Type: Temporary Contract (6 week contract)
Compensation: Competitive hourly or daily rate
Purpose of Role
The Follow-Up Specialist plays a critical role in driving revenue conversion from qualified leads. This position focuses on proactive outbound calling to clients who have already received details of services and costs, with the objective of securing a clear decision to proceed, reschedule, or close off the opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively telephone clients whose leads have been qualified as deals.
- Engage professionally and clearly with clients to confirm whether they wish to proceed with the service.
- Where the client confirms they wish to proceed, take payment over the phone in line with company process and record details accurately.
- If the client no longer wishes to proceed, close the deal in the CRM and record the correct loss reason.
- If the client requires further information, schedule a follow-up call in the CRM for a Advisor to make contact.
- Update CRM records in real time, ensuring data is accurate and up to date at all times.
- Work to daily and weekly contact targets to support the achievement of revenue goals.
- Always maintain a professional and empathetic tone, recognising the sensitive nature of Continuing Healthcare discussions.
- Escalate any complex or sensitive client matters to the appropriate internal team.
Key Skills & Experience
- Excellent telephone communication skills, able to build rapport quickly and manage client conversations confidently.
- Proven ability to follow structured call flows and handle decision-based conversations.
- Experience using CRM systems (preferably Zoho or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and disciplined in accurate data entry.
- Customer-centric mindset with a focus on clear outcomes.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
