We are looking to recruit a Global Record to Report Lead for a global software company. My client is undergoing a global finance transformation, centred around a NetSuite implementation. This is an initial 6 month contract working 2 / 3 days a week onsite in Central London.

This role will take ownership of the end-to-end Record to Report process, with a focus on defining and embedding a scalable global framework. The current environment is fragmented, with inconsistencies across close, consolidation and reporting processes, and requires a hands-on individual to drive meaningful change. This is not a design-only role. You will be expected to operate as a "doer", working closely with finance teams to standardise processes, improve reporting accuracy and ensure adoption across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities
  • Define and implement a global Record to Report framework across multiple regions
  • Identify inefficiencies across general ledger, close, consolidation and reporting processes
  • Lead NetSuite process design and optimisation for Record to Report
  • Drive improvements in close cycles, reporting accuracy and financial controls
  • Standardise chart of accounts and reporting structures across the organisation
  • Work closely with Finance teams, including controllership and audit functions
  • Influence stakeholders and drive adoption across global teams
Key experience
  • Proven experience leading Record to Report transformation within complex organisations
  • Strong understanding of general ledger, close, consolidation and group reporting environments
  • Experience working within structured financial reporting and control frameworks
  • Experience working on ERP implementations, ideally NetSuite
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and drive change without heavy support
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Hands-on approach with a focus on delivery and outcomes

This is a high-impact role requiring someone who can build the framework, implement change and bring stakeholders on the journey.
