Our Client: This is a great time to join our client, a large Public Sector body providing critical services at a local level with exciting technology plans in the pipeline providing opportunity for all IT team members to access learning.
The Role: Proactively support the lifecycle of all ICT Assets (desktops, laptops, mobiles, software and licenses). Ensuring the integrity of the Asset Database via accurate and timely updating and auditing to certify data quality. Engagement with IT Suppliers and internal and external stakeholders on the acquisition and disposal of assets.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Essential: 2+ years' experience in a similar ICT Assets management role looking after full asset lifecycle management.
- A proactive approach to supporting the full lifecycle of ICT Assets.
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable liaising with suppliers and stakeholders up to a senior level.
- Experience undertaking IT Asset audits, collating data and producing appropriate reports for Management and to support decision making.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise confidently across the team.
- 5+ years UK residency, with no extended periods outside of the UK, in order to meet the necessary level of security vetting required.
You will need to be able to demonstrate that you have lived and worked in the UK for the last 5 years in order to meet the security vetting required for this role.
