We are looking to recruit a Data Analyst for a leading software & technology company to play a pivotal role in modernising how business data is accessed, integrated, and analysed. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key position as the organisation transitions from long-standing legacy systems to a modern, cloud-based data architecture.

The Data Analyst will be responsible for unlocking data from older SQL-based systems and shaping a new analytics environment using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.

What you\’ll be doing

• Integrating and extracting data from on-prem legacy systems (SQL-based) into modern cloud data platforms
• Building lightweight interfaces and data pipelines to support the migration into Microsoft Fabric
• Designing and maintaining dashboards and analytics in Power BI
• Improving data availability, efficiency, and reporting across the organisation
• Working directly with senior internal stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable insights

What we\’re looking for

• Minimum 2 years\’ experience as a Data Analyst (or similar hands‑on data role)
• Strong SQL experience and understanding of legacy database environments
• Proven ability with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric (essential)
• Comfortable working in a smaller business environment where you can shape systems as well as analysis
• Excellent communication skills with confidence working closely with C-level stakeholders
• Practical, hands‑on approach – not a theoretical or research-focused data science role
