Our client, a leading Heavy Haulage Transport company requires a SHEQ Advisor/Coordinator to be responsible for all aspects of Health and Safety within the business and assist on current SHEQ initiatives and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure produced policies, procedures and Risk Assessments are correctly implemented across the business.
- Complete the annual review of risk assessments, to include COSHH risk assessments.
- Ensure all documentation relating to health and safety, environmental and quality systems is kept up to date and accurate.
- Assist in audits and assist in the implementation of any corrective actions.
- Work with the H&S team to coordinate and participate in H&S safety inspections.
- Identify safety, health and environment training needs and assist the SHEQ Administrator manage all course bookings including CSCS, CPCS and E-learning training.
- Provide expert health and safety advice and knowledge to the business and work closely with the management team across the business to support and advise in all HSEQ matters.
- Undertake day-to-day health and safety activities.
- Undertake safety briefings, lessons learnt and distribute other safety related communications.
