We are looking to recruit an SC Cleared Cloud Project Manager for a leading technology consultancy that delivers large-scale infrastructure and cloud transformation programmes for enterprise and public sector clients. They are looking to appoint an experienced Cloud Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex infrastructure and cloud initiatives, including migrations, modernisation, and hybrid cloud programmes. This is a senior delivery role where you'll take full accountability for end-to-end project outcomes, combining strong technical understanding with robust project management discipline to ensure successful, repeatable, and high-quality client delivery. This is a remote role with project related travel when required.
The Role
As a Cloud Project Manager, you will own the full project lifecycle - from initiation and planning through to delivery, closure, and handover to support. You'll work closely with technical teams, suppliers, and client stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery
- Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure and cloud projects, including cloud migrations, platform modernisation, and deployment initiatives.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects of varying size and complexity.
- Ensure projects follow structured, repeatable delivery processes that result in positive, referenceable customer outcomes.
- Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and motivation to project teams and suppliers.
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary client-facing contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across public and private sectors.
- Collaborate effectively with internal engineering teams, partners, and third-party vendors.
- Support customers through technical and organisational change.
- Planning & Governance
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, dependencies, resources, and risk management.
- Track progress against plans, proactively managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Produce clear and regular status reporting for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
- Own project budgets and financial performance.
- Track costs, manage forecasts, and ensure delivery against commercial targets.
- Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and comply with security and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned and best practice across the delivery community.
About You
- Minimum of 5 years' experience delivering complex technical projects to external customers.
- Proven track record delivering infrastructure and cloud programmes, including:
- Data centre and application migrations.
- Platform modernisation.
- Hybrid cloud implementations.
