Data Engineer - Azure - Hybrid Working

Data Engineer Inside IR35 Contract We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join a prestigious defence organisation in London. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and mentor a junior Data Engineer while contributing to the development of critical data pipelines and products. Technical Leadership: Lead and guide the technical direction of data engineering projects. Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, and SQL Server. Data Integration: Extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into a new platform. Data Product Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and build data products that deliver actionable insights. Team Mentorship: Mentor and develop a junior Data Engineer, fostering their growth and skill development. Proven experience in data engineering roles, including data pipeline development and data integration. Strong proficiency in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, and SQL Server. Solid understanding of Python programming language. Experience working with diverse data sets and data sources.
