We are working with a leading technology organisation who require an experienced Business Manager to support the effective operation of their Group Finance function. Reporting to the CFO, this role will work closely with the senior finance leadership team to help coordinate priorities, improve ways of working, and ensure clear delivery against key business objectives. This is a highly visible role suited to someone who is organised, confident working with senior stakeholders, and able to bring structure, pace and clarity across a busy finance leadership environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the CFO and senior finance leadership team with business planning, prioritisation and coordination across the Group Finance function.
  • Manage the operating rhythm for the function, including meeting cycles, governance forums, action tracking and follow-up.
  • Act as a key point of coordination between finance leadership, business units and wider corporate functions.
  • Prepare and consolidate updates, dashboards, briefing materials and performance summaries to support leadership discussions.
  • Track key actions, risks, issues and dependencies, escalating where required to support timely resolution.
  • Support the planning and coordination of finance initiatives, transformation activity and cross-functional projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, governance and ways of working.
  • Help drive consistency, accountability and collaboration across the finance function.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a Business Manager, Finance PMO, Governance, Business Operations or senior coordination role within a complex organisation.
  • Experience working closely with senior leadership teams, ideally within finance, technology, transformation or corporate functions.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable preparing reports, updates, dashboards and briefing materials for senior audiences.
  • Good understanding of governance, action tracking, RAID management, planning cycles or operating rhythms.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, detail-focused and able to bring structure to ambiguous or fast-moving situations.
  • Experience within a technology, software, SaaS, private equity-backed or fast-growth environment would be beneficial.

This is a 12-month contract with a leading technology business, offering hybrid working with 2-3 days per week required in London. The role would suit someone who enjoys working at the centre of a senior leadership function, keeping priorities on track, improving ways of working, and helping a CFO and finance leadership team operate effectively.
