Business Analyst

Business Analyst 12 Month Contract Location: Gloucester / Home – Hybrid Rate: £400 – £450 per day (Outside IR35)

A leading public sector organisation is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support the successful delivery of a major Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 rollout programme.

You\’ll work closely with technical teams and end users to understand requirements, assess current equipment and usage, and provide structured analysis to inform project planning and deployment across multiple sites. This is a hands‑on, delivery‑focused role ideal for a Business Analyst experienced in IT change and user‑facing transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements gathering sessions with user groups across the organisation.
• Analyse user needs and existing equipment allocations to support migration planning.
• Provide light‑touch business analysis input to guide project delivery and rollout strategy.
• Support the planning and deployment of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 technologies.
• Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure user requirements are fully understood and addressed.

Experience & Skills

• Proven experience supporting IT change, migration, or rollout projects (e.g. Windows 11 or M365).
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience working in user‑facing roles.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable outputs.
• Experience working within policing, public sector, or similarly regulated environments (advantageous).
