Bid Manager (Fully Remote, UK-Based) Permanent Salary – Up to £65k Location – remote, UK. The Role As a Bid Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving growth for a leading provider of software solutions in the higher education sector. You will identify and manage end-to-end bid processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop compelling bid responses that showcase our innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities: Identify and qualify potential bid opportunities (RFIs, RFPs, RFQs) Manage the entire bid lifecycle, from initial assessment to final submission Collaborate with technical and sales teams to develop persuasive bid responses Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of non-functional responses Analyze bid requirements to determine product/market fit and develop effective response strategies Maintain and update the company’s knowledge base Act as the primary point of contact for bid-related inquiries and communications Required Skills and Experience: Essential: Proven experience of working on bids in the higher education sector or from working in procurement at a higher education institution Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office 1 Suite or Google Workspace Ability to work independently and as part of a team A passion for technology and education Desired Skills and Experience: Experience with bid response tools Project management skills Some experience working in higher education, particularly in procurement Understanding of accessibility, security, and compliance standards Familiarity with EdTech applications and integration
