About the role: We're looking for a handsâon, detailâoriented Lifecycle Marketing Manager to execute, refine, and optimize multiâchannel communications that help learners start, stick with, and succeed on DataCamp. Operating at meaningful scale (150+ automated email programs and millions of monthly sends), you'll partner with the Director of Lifecycle Marketing on campaign strategy while fully owning flawless execution of our testâlearnâoptimize roadmap, the newsletter and blast calendar. This is an individual contributor role with an executionâforward remit.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure flawless campaign production with rigorous QA across builds, rendering, links, and tracking to maintain the highest quality standards.
- Personalize at scale: use behavioral and lifecycle signals to deliver dynamic content, branching logic, and targeted eligibility rules.
- Support the experimentation roadmap for CRM channels: build a hypothesis backlog, design A/B/n and holdout tests, document results, and translate insights into roadmap decisions.
- Manage the comms calendar for weekly email newsletters and crossâchannel communications; manage timing and frequency to minimize overlap and maximize impact.
- Design and improve automated journeys in partnership with senior team members across onboarding, activation, habit formation (e.g., streaks), reâengagement/winâback, crossâsell/upsell, and renewal/churn prevention.
- Safeguard deliverability & compliance: maintain list hygiene and monitoring; follow GDPR, CCPA, CANâSPAM, and PECR.
- Leverage automation & AI: prototype lowâcode automations (e.g., n8n or Make.com); use modern AI tools responsibly to accelerate copy ideation, variant generation, and analysis while upholding brand and privacy standards.
- Collaborate crossâfunctionally with Product, Product Marketing, Data/Analytics, Content, Brand/Design, Paid, and Sales/CS (B2B) to align audiences, messaging, and measurement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, STEM or related field.
- 2-3 years related work experience.
- Experience with Customer.io or other email systems (Iterable, SFMC, Braze) and managing multichannel CRM campaigns.
- Working understanding of HTML + Liquid.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to flawless execution.
- SQL knowledge with the ability to independently pull data and generate reports.
- Dataâdriven and analytical.
- Strong project management - highly organized and able to efficiently coordinate multiple projects and contributors.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
