Location: London, United Kingdom, is highly preferred, but applications from Amsterdam, Netherlands, and Berlin/Munich, Germany, are also welcome.

Office Policy: Hybrid. Expected to be in the respective office (London, Amsterdam, Berlin or Munich) at least once a week.

About the Role: The EMEA Field Enablement team ensures the Go-To Market organisation (Sales, Field Engineering & Professional Services) has the processes, skills, and technical capabilities required to engage with customers across the journey. In this role, you will provide hands-on leadership to enhance skills necessary for operationalizing and executing learner effectiveness in the field. You will lead cross-functional enablement sessions, leveraging strong programme management skills to view the business holistically. Your strategic mindset will help adapt and evolve priorities, driving performance and productivity, and cultivating relationships within the internal technical community. The ideal candidate has expertise in technical field enablement and adult learning principles, with an understanding of a consumption-based sales motion and a passion for Data and AI technologies. You will report to the Global Director of Technical Enablement for Field Engineering.

Impact you will have:

  • Apply best practices to assess and improve enablement programmes to boost Field engineering productivity, based on a strong understanding of the consumption sales model.
  • Partner with leadership, Sales Enablement, and other stakeholders to discover, validate, prioritize, and scale technical enablement initiatives.
  • Drive global Field Engineering enablement strategy through innovative programmes, including analysis, design, development, implementation, and reporting oversight.
  • Align programmes with regional strategic priorities to contribute to the global roadmap, developing unified programmes tailored to regional audiences while maintaining global relevance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to stay updated with the evolving Databricks Platform, product, messaging, capabilities, and new processes.
  • Lead, facilitate, and coordinate enablement sessions, workshops, and launches for a technical audience in the region.

What we look for:

  • Experience delivering large-scale training and enablement solutions in a Tech or Data/AI company, targeted at a technical audience.
  • An understanding of processes and nuances related to a platform-as-a-service sales and delivery motion.
  • Willingness to develop proficiency in Data/AI concepts, such as Lakehouse Architecture.
  • Experience supporting technical audiences in creating complex proofs-of-concept and solutions; prior experience in Pre-Sales roles building POCs is a bonus.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with strong executive presence and the ability to influence and engage large audiences.
