You act as a trusted technical advisor, shaping scalable, secure lakehouse architectures and driving adoption. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, influence product direction, and demonstrate Databricks’ value in customers’ data and AI strategies. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Guide customers through the full Databricks lifecycle on their cloud platform, from initial architecture to production deployment /li li Architect secure, scalable enterprise deployments addressing networking, identity, and security compliance /li li Be a subject matter expert in cloud infrastructure, IaC, networking, and identity management /li li Drive technical wins in competitive scenarios with tailored Databricks solutions /li li Orchestrate cross-functional resources (DSAs, SAs, FDE, Partners) to deliver complex solutions /li li Provide structured feedback on customer requirements and competitive gaps to influence product direction /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li 8+ years in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or senior hands-on roles /li li Advanced expertise in cloud security controls, IAM, encryption, compliance, and identity protocols /li li Expertise in enterprise cloud networking, private connectivity, and large-scale deployments /li li Platform administration skills including HA/DR, cluster orchestration, observability, and cost management /li li InfraOps experience with IaC tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation/CDK, ARM/Bicep, Deployment Manager) /li li Proficiency in Python and SQL with live coding and solution-building ability /li li Deep knowledge of distributed data systems, lakehouse patterns, and cloud-native data platforms /li li Proficiency with the Databricks Platform /li li Strong ability to lead architecture discussions with senior technical stakeholders /li li Track record of driving platform adoption and customer engagement /li li Willingness to travel up to 30% /li /ul ul li Excellent communication adaptable to technical and executive audiences /li li Leadership and coaching of junior team members /li li Strong stakeholder management and collaboration across cross-functional teams /li li Cloud security controls and identity management (IAM, Entra ID/Azure AD, Google Cloud IAM) /li li Networking and deployments (VPC/VNet, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute/Interconnect, Private Link/Service Connect) /li li Platform administration (HA/DR, observability, cloud cost management) /li /ul
