b Overview /b p In this role you will lead Databricks’ UK Forward Deployed AI Engineering team to help customers transform with AI/ML at scale. You’ll grow the professional services team, cultivate executive relationships with EMEA clients, and collaborate across Product, R D, and GTM to inform strategy and deliver repeatable, impactful AI solutions. You will shape delivery models, drive strategic initiatives, and act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, enabling successful AI transformations. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Build and scale a high-performing AI/ML services team in the UK /li li Develop and expand executive relationships with EMEA customers and partners (VP+, CIO/CDO) /li li Coordinate with Field Engineering and Sales to align strategies for strategic accounts and ensure delivery coordination /li li Lead AI PS initiatives, shape practice development, and create scalable engagement models /li li Foster cross-functional collaboration to feed customer voice into product roadmap and GTM /li li Own OKRs for AI-services led accounts, revenue, utilization, and public references /li li Represent Databricks as a thought leader in AI/ML /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Extensive experience in managing, hiring, and growing data science/ML engineering teams with a track record of scaling organizations /li li Ability to scope, guide, and sell technical engagements and manage escalations in enterprise environments /li li Deep technical expertise in ML, GenAI, and data science, with ongoing curiosity to stay current /li li Experience leading teams deploying production ML solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) /li li Proven ability to define programs with senior executives and build trust in complex enterprise engagements /li li Cross-functional leadership experience with Sales, Product, and GTM to drive business impact /li li “Company-first” mindset /li li Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience /li /ul ul li Leadership and people development /li li Strategic stakeholder management /li li Effective communication with C-level sponsors /li li ML / GenAI expertise /li li Data science /li li Production ML in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) /li /ul
