Job Description
What you’ll be doing:
- Build and enhance bespoke QA solutions for our clients
- Enhance and grow your engineering knowledge among subject matter experts in our learning and development ecosystem
- Deliver high quality, best practice software solutions
- Use a range of architectures, tools and frameworks
- Have the opportunity to learn and gain certification in new technologies
- Recommend, implement and knowledge share new ideas and innovations
- Work as part of a dynamic team
- Produce clean and efficient solutions based on specifications
- Liaise with clients

Qualifications
Experience and skills required:
- Minimum 2+ years experience in a QA role
- Demonstrable experience creating and maintaining comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data across backend (e.g., Python, Java, kdb+, Postgres) and frontend (e.g., React) systems.
- Solid knowledge of SDLC, agile methodologies, and appropriate tooling
- Ability to collaborate with product owners, developers, and other QA team members to define and execute test plans and strategies.
- Strong programming skills for automation of manual test plans.
- Use of Gherkin/Cucumber for testing in a Behaviour Driven Development environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with development teams to find and fix bugs.
- Ability to analyse, document, and track bugs.
- Basic SQL skills for data investigation
- Basic knowledge of kdb+ is highly advantageous but not essential
- Use of AWS infrastructure and UNIX/Linux skills is also advantageous
