We are looking for a motivated and analytically minded Talent Analyst to join our People team in Belfast. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career who is passionate about data, People and recruitment. You will support the team in building and maintaining talent pipelines, analysing recruitment data and contributing to the broader People strategy at Data Intellect. A strong numerical aptitude and comfort working with data are essential to success in this role.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including candidate research, pipeline tracking and outreach
- Maintain and update talent databases, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data
- Produce regular reports and dashboards on recruitment metrics including time-to-hire, pipeline conversion and source effectiveness
- Conduct market mapping and competitor benchmarking to identify talent pools across key technical disciplines
- Analyse and interpret people data including attrition, retention, and headcount trends to surface actionable insights for the wider People team and leadership
- Build and maintain structured datasets, identifying patterns and anomalies that inform talent and workforce decisions
- Coordinate candidate communications and help ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Contribute to employer brand activity by helping to identify trends and insights from candidate feedback
What you’ll bring:
- 1-2 years of experience in a recruitment, HR or People analytics role
- A numerate, analytical mindset - comfortable working with large datasets, identifying patterns and drawing data-driven conclusions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets including experience working with and manipulating large datasets; experience with HR or ATS platforms is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Desirable:
- A degree in a numerate discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or similar is desirable
- An interest in the technology or financial services sector is desirable but not essential
