- Strong commercial experience developing backend software using Python, alongside experience with languages such as Java, Go, Kotlin, C++ or similar
- Commercial experience with Type Script
- Experience building and operating applications within AWS/GCP environments
- Strong understanding of scalable system design and distributed systems
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern engineering practices
- Experience building resilient, cloud‑native, enterprise‑grade applications
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of key platform components from design through to deployment, optimisation and ongoing support
- Help design, build and scale the backend services that power our AI‑driven platform
- Solve complex engineering challenges around scalability, performance and reliability
- Design distributed systems and build resilient enterprise‑grade software
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering leadership to shape technical roadmaps and influence architecture decisions
- Contribute to the long‑term evolution of the platform
- Deliver high‑quality, resilient software and improve engineering processes and tooling
